It gets even slimier and sleazier. Doctors are making patients sign agreements called gag contracts which force patients not to talk about their experience with that particular doctor/charlatan. American doctors are behaving like Nazis.

Doctors kill more people in the US than guns and that's a fact. Most of them are idiots and opportunists looking to apply what little medical knowledge they have acquired in a blanket manner. Most of them see a fat person and treat them like a cash cow (no pun intended). They scare them with the old heart disease and diabetes arguments and demand that they go on quack diets. They keep the fat patient coming back for treatment that the poor fatling doesn’t really need. My wife and children have been victims of this kind of unscrupulous medical practice on more than one occasion. I won’t go into details but it has caused a lot of confusion and stress in my house at times. Luckily we have found a fat friendly doctor who doesn’t push the status quo on her overweight patients. Instead she treats each of her fat patients as individuals and takes each person’s unique health situation into account before making any kind of diagnosis. Now my wife and daughters don’t mind going to the doctor when before it was avoided until it was a last resort.
ReplyDeleteDoctors should encourage obesity and gluttony because it is in their best interest to do so. We fatlings require more medical care and that means more money for doctors.
ReplyDeleteI’m not sure a doctor should openly encourage obesity but they certainly shouldn’t bully or scare of berate the big fat slob of a patient either. When treating a gluttonous blob of a person a doctor should be sort of non-committal. He should praise the fatty for being in as good a shape as they are because it could always be worse. My girlfriend’s doctor is kind of like that. When she examines my girlfriend she listens to her heart and lungs and says things like and I quote; “well it sounds like things are under a little more stress than they were the last time you were here but considering your weight it’s not too bad.” Or something like this “Maybe you might want to consider cutting back on the ice cream and red meat for a while and see what happens. I’m not saying go on a diet but maybe eat only 1 gallon of chunky monkey each night instead of the 2 gallons you are usually eating. Or only eat 2 cheese burgers at dinner instead of 4. Just give it a shot for a few days and see how you feel.” Non-committal and affable statements like that are non-threatening to the obese patient and it gives fatty a convenient out if they cannot cut back on their gluttony with no guilt or shame. Furthermore it helps absolve the doctor from any legal issues stemming from a malpractice lawsuit should the porker patient have the inevitable health crisis that is probably looming on the horizon. If the doctor can show that he or she made sound suggestions that could have helped improve the health of their blubbery patient, a lawsuit loses much of its validity. In this way they will actually be encouraging obesity because we all know that unless the average fatty is watched and controlled in a strict low calorie environment they will never take their weight problem seriously.
